Twilight Zone Marathon

Just finished watching "The Eye Of The Beholder"
(aka "The Private World Of Darkness") Twilight Zone Marathon episode...

...featuring the luscious and scantily clad Elly May Clampett (Donna Douglas).

Great episode on how beauty is perceived.

Now the questions that come to mind. Where is this place and when is it?
What kind of world where ugliness is the norm and beauty the deviation from that norm?
You want an answer? The answer is it...doesn't make any difference.
Because the old saying happens to be true. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.
In this year or a hundred years hence.
On this planet or wherever there is human life...perhaps out amongst the stars.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Lesson to be learned...in The Twilight Zone.

(closing narration by Rod Serling)

Any TZoners have favorite episodes?

I love this show! In fact, I've found myself listening to the radio broadcasts recently. They're good. Been reading Richard Matheson lately, and his stories made for many episodes of The Twilight Zone, including the classic "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

What was the title of this one? This guy wanted to take his dog into heaven with him and was denied that priviledge at the gate, so he left and walked a little further to what he found was the real gate to heaven and was able to bring his dog. Turned out the 1st gate was to hell. Title anyone?

I also like Long Distance Call. Creepy! eek

That would be the episode called "The Hunt".
