my boyfriend always has those home make over shows on. there's a ton of them now...with small differences just to warrant a different show, lol. i've noticed one common theme with all off these shows (with the exception of trading spaces): the people who end up with FREE make overs are wealthy people who could actually afford to pay for the remodeling! i don't get it. it annoys me wen i see lawyers, doctors, chemists, judges, etc getting a free $30,000 make over on ONE room! dag, at least once in a while they could give that to someone who wotks two jobs and really needs something like that.
