Prince and associated artists go toe-to-toe on the dance floor against Michael and the Jackson family - this is the ultimate dance party! This face-off promises to be a dance marathon - "Musicology" takes a swing at "PYT (Pretty Young Thing)," only to be pounded by "Wanna Be Starting Somethin," which had better watch it's back when "Kiss" comes around.
This event was conceived four years by Bomb Hip-Hop who have successfully produced many of these parties in San Francisco and even one in Bend (Oregon). "As a concept for a DJ battle, Prince vs. Michael is brilliant," writes SF Weekly's Hiya Swanhuyser. DJ Dave Paul mixes album cuts, remixes, rare tracks and classics from his extensive record collection; featuring music from Prince, Michael, The Time, The Jackson 5, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Vanity 6 and many more.
