He's not an artist. He's a good producer of catchy, disposable music for whatever that's worth. If one's to believe the rumors he should be under some jail by now. As it is since I don't know the truth I'll leave him alone. Fortunately, I'm not a big fan anyway so I don't support all of this financially. I will admit he's made a few jams that I like but nothing I need to go out and buy.

I bought "Chocolate Factory" and while it was OK, it pretty much collects dust. I think R. Kelly is talented but nearly everything he produces and does now sounds very much the same. "Hotel" and "Gigglio" are almost the same thing. I find it strange that is having the most success he's ever had as an astist and producer, writer, etc. now not only due to the controversy but also do the fact that the stuff he's been doing lately sounds kind of trite.

R. kelly's best work, unreleased loveland..old-school feel, included step, far more, etc. The copy tht he had on the chocolate factory cd was just a snippet, the original is incredible.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I think its jacked-up that people in this country call for a boycott of the Dixie Chicks when they criticised the president, yet R Kelly is all over the airwaves after BEING CAUGHT ON VIDEO with a little girl! How people can still show support for him is beyond me. Even MJ doesn't have video condeming him.
