Music overload in 2004? What are you anxiously awaiting?

You can never, never have too much music! But the money to support the habit?... well that's another story.

So far we know of the following:

Madonna: a tour in May

George Michael: an album in March

Britney Spears: tour in March

Janet Jackson: an album in March

DuranDuran: new album in March (I believe)

Prince: still on tour?

feel free to add any new releases or tours I've forgotten to mention.


Which are you mostly anticipating? Do you think this year will live up to your expectations or are you skeptical? What are your predictions?

Well, Norah Jones' gem came out this month! Whooohooo!!!

I'm actually trying to chill on the music buying, so Prince's might be the next I buy. (And who knows when that'll be out...)

Anyway,here's what I'm looking forward to in 2004...


***Madonna tour---I'm still in shock that she is touring so soon after the last tour.But I will be there.And if I don't get tickets,I will beg,borrow and steal my way into her concert

***New Jamiroquai CD---the latest word is that it will be out in early summer,and I can't wait.Their last CD 'A Funk Odyssey' is STILL in my CD player.

***New CD from Remy Shand--his second CD is due sometime this year,and I'm really excited about it.

***Earth Wind and Fire touring with Chicago---a co-headlining tour that I'm looking forward to.I've never seen Chicago in concert before,but they are one of my favorite bands.

***Santana on tour---I see him every year when he tours,and I'm always impressed with his shows.

***Prince on tour and new album---i haven't seen Prince in concert since 1997,so I think it's time for me to go again...lol...and a new album sounds promising too.Can't wait!!

Hey, you know I don't hate Madonna. I'm just tired of seeing MJ getting pulled down by certain orgers just to make Maddy look better.

The new Kate Bush album without a doubt.If it will ever see the light of day.
The new Morrissey album should be very interesting too.

Yes I´ve heard that too. But that was 4 months ago.Kate even talked about working on a new album over 2 years ago in her Q-Magazine Interview.I find this very annoying and I don´t believe that she releases anything until I hold the CD in my hands.

Backroom Matches: waiting for a full-fledged LP.
Tori Fixx: waiting for the 2nd installment in the 3-disc series. Black.Out was fiyah!
Res: she's finishing up an album. When it'll see the light of day? Hopefully this year.
Alana Davis: went indie, looking forward to her third LP and tour.
Amel Larrieux: a tour, please.
Kelis: waiting for the "Glow" or "Attention" video (and remixes ::crossing fingers:. What's up with a non-Britney-affliated, headlining tour?! I wanna support her on the road.
Meshell Ndegeocello: some new music would be cool by her.
