Anybody here heard Har Mar Superstar , just got his cd "You Can Feel me" , once you get over the look of the man his music is FUNKY...

yes , in the last couple of UK radio interviews he keeps describing himself as the Prince of old i.e. Dirty mind - Purple rain era Prince. He keeps givin Prince BIG props. Lets face it he'll be gone soon!.

I've heard a lot about the guy, and I think it's hilarious that he goes around in his underwear with that flabby body.

OK I mentioned in a previous thread about him that listening to that was like an anti-climactic experience. Well, I'm sticking to tat story. He may give his props to the purple on but he sounds, acts, or looks nothing like him. And I don't understand why folks see things that way. He's just some nasty mofo spewing nasty subject matter over slick, cheezy, mainstream r&b/hip-hop. There's really nothing groundbreaking about this guy, so...Um...next, please?

Har Mar is my boy. Representin Minneapolis once again!

Both Har Mar albums are funky as all hell and damn, that shit is sexy.

The live show is great too.
