Her debut was an AWESOME bid 4 Pop a la Paula Abdul and of course, Janet Jackson, but Watley's dancing has always been a little too clumpy 4 me; it's never been as precisely effective as the former two. Also unlike the former two, she was lacking in the "Cute" Department. Watley always seemed hard 2 me. Although she had a lotta hits off this album, sales degenerated with subsequent releases. Abdul too. Janet hung in there and was always pretty successful even when sales were low, but she would at least go Gold. Watley also comes off as being angry in interviews and too self-important with regard 2 how people were jackin' her looks, etc...but yeah..."Looking For A New Love," "Still A Thrill," "Love Injection" (which shoulda been a single! It would've been HUGE!), "Don't You Want Me" and "Some Kind Of Lover..." Minneapolis-inspired MAGIC! Cymone's crowning achievement hands DOWN! <3

What a horrible & unnecessary review.disbelief

.

I actually love that she is not being a 'technical' dancer. I love when artists dance as if they are at home listening to a song or at a house party or club. I love seeing Janet's 'regular' girl moves, even mixed in with the choreography. And I love the same with Prince, I cringed when he was doing those moves with the Game Boyz in Theives In the Temple.

Nobody will ever convince me that Prince didn't write Still A Thrill. It has 86/87 Prince written all over it.
