Sucks not having him here.

-

Some of those categories are tough to predict. I think the female categories especially. Janelle, Ella, and H.E.R. all had various levels of success this year.

I hope everybody watches. Hopefully I'll be in attendance this year if God's will.

My past appearances with the late great Prince(r.i.p.) in attendance. WIth his "color coordinated" outfit with Halle Berry on March 4th 2011. 8 years ago. Who what have known what was in store for him later.

My appearance with the then governor President Barack Obama in the front row (fun times).

I was in COMPLETE hysteria when host Wayne Brady surprisingly, announced Prince as a presenter. Nobody knew!

This was March 19th, 2005 14 years ago right before the 3121 hysteria started. No one knew why Prince was wearing 3121 on his back. I was quickly trying to read what was written on the slips on his keyboards when he was singing the then unknown gospel flavored "Satisfied". The audience was at fever pitch & couldn't contain themselves with Prince's fast paced, well rehearsed, medley that had Oprah & The Obama's partying down in the front row & Prince(r.i.p.) fan Jamie Foxx in awe.

Nights I'll never forget!

So Prince, whom fought 4 his first record deal & got it, fought 4 a movie deal & got it, fought 4 freedom from his WB contract & got it, fought 4 his masters & got them.Gets a curable illness & says 2 himself ok, I'm done. "Life is a Box Of Chocolates"
