Sucks not having him here.

-

Some of those categories are tough to predict. I think the female categories especially. Janelle, Ella, and H.E.R. all had various levels of success this year.

Either you have nothing to say about your experience, or there's a glitch in the matrix. lol

-

Secondly, Is it mandatory that Beyonce win something? She (and her husband) didn't even win any of the other categories she was nominated in but somehow still wins for Entertainer of the Year?

The Grammy's had Beyonce perform but yet didn't give her album of the year. ANY appearance of the both of them at ANY award show gets attention. It's a ratings BONANZA! They're the PRINCE Harry & Meghan Markle of the music industry. When Beyonce & JAY-Z walked to their seats at the famous now Dolby theater home of The Oscars & now The NAACP Image Awards. The crowd was in a COMPLETE frenzy!

Speaking of Prince(r.i.p). It still wasn't the same to me when he(my musical idol)made his appearances in my presence at various awrad shows.. NO award show will be the same to me EVER again. sad

Yeah, I get the politics/business side of it. They're considered king and queen of the entertainment industry proms. I get it. It's just a disservice to other artists whose impact might have been more significant than hers. But because she equals ratings, screw artistic merit or cultural impact.

-

It's the world we live in. For the record, I think LeBron James' spot could've went elsewhere too. That was a waste too. Why was he even nominated, because he became a Laker?
