I don't care much for the RRHOF as I think it's become a bit of a joke the past few years, however, if they do continue with this thing, there is no doubt in my mind as to who should get in next and be on the top of the list and that's Carol King! An amazing songwriter and singer. She certainly deserves it. I would also like to see Chaka, Tina Turner and I think orger MickeyDolenz has some great suggestions like Roy Clark and a few others.

Tina Turner has been inducted as a part of Ike & Tina. Carole King is in too as a songwriter with Gerry Goffin. Peter Gabriel is in twice with Genesis & solo. Phil Collins is not in as a solo act.

I don’t get Kiss at all. If you’re going to put Kiss in there then Motley Crue should be in too.

The problem with the RRHOF is it seems to be all about who you know or who Jann Werner and Dave Marsh like. The E Street band was inducted separate from Springsteen mostly because Dave Marsh is a huge Springsteen fan and has pull with the organization. I’m sure Ringo Starr got in just so they could see Paul and Ringo perform together. Joan Jett was all about The Runaways promotion and when she performed for Nirvana’s induction it was pretty much a given she’d be inducted and low and behold she was the next year. I’m fine with her being in there but it’s a joke that she’s in and someone like Pat Benatar has never even been nominated. Pat’s Music was huge in the early 80. She was the first female artist to be played on MTV. She has an amazing voice and is actually rock and roll unlike some of the other female artists inducted. Stevie Nicks is probably in just to promote the new Fleetwood Mac tour.

Johnny Guitar Watson

Millie Jackson

Sun Ra (he and his bands was wearing wild outfits long before rock & funk bands were doing it)

Screamin' Jay Hawkins

Celia Cruz

Herbie Hancock

Ethel Waters

Los Lobos

Flying Burrito Brothers

Michael Nesmith (without Nez, MTV might not have existed. He's also one of the originators of country rock and released a video album before Beyoncé was born)

I'm surprised to see Kansas & 38 Special on your list, not many people mention them but I've always loved their music! It would be awesome for them to get in.
