The new album by Harts (Queens, Kings & All The Big Things)

I haven't seen people here commenting on it. The album came out already some three weeks ago and some of the tracks were previewed earlier than that as well.

Will it go unregistered almost completely? The Youtube views and the number of plays on other streaming services are underwhelming. Has he been "lacing" his Prince / Hendrix -influenced stuff with too many modern production gimmicks? Should he have done something completely different this time around, like something influenced by Indie Rock etc.?

A friend recommended it on Twitter so I checked him out. How he's going unnoticed is incredibly disappointing

I could have sworn there was another thread about this album already. In fact, I think I posted in it.

Yeah there was another thread.

Apparently he will be releasing another album soon.

I wish Queens, Kings and All Big Things had a physical release. I don't connect to albums that I don't own in the same way. It's just easier to forget about them when you can only stream or download.

I got his last album Smoke, Hope, Fire, Desire on vinyl and it's great.

Another new album? That's good to know. Queens, Kings... is one of my favourite albums of 2018 so I'll gladly take more of the same.

Actually i think updating his sound is a step in a good

direction.to tell you the truth i got tired hearing his long

underrwhelming pentatonic box solos.

Harts is a really good singer, very good keyboard player

and rhythm guitar player but his guitar solos

are leaving a lot to be desired.

So he still dont have chops to play extended guitar solos.

so updating the sound is a ctually a change for good and its stil funky
