Post one of your favourite music videos and explain why.

I love this video I always come back to it from time to time I just think it perfectly captures the atmosphere of the music, I love how surreal it is I like videos that leave you wondering what the hell was that about? that are open to interpretation.

I'm just like everybody else I need love.....and water.

C+C Music Factory - Things That Make You Go Hmmmm....

This is one of my all time favorite videos. I like the animation and I also used to have a crush on Zelma Davis. biggrin

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Janet Jackson ~ Doesn't Really Matter, because that could be me. I love her place, and that's my kind of pet.

Doesn't really matter what the eye is seeing
Cause I'm in love with the inner being
And it doesn't really matter what they believe
What matters to me is you're in love with me

This entire album came at the right time in my life. I love this song and the crescendo is incredible.

"Run Away," Moonchild (2017)

Love the groove, but the video is just so joyful with a bittersweet ending. An allegory for genuine love lost.

"The Pleasure Principle." Janet Jackson (1987)

The song was all over the place in the summer of '87, and the video was quite a departure from the others.

REO Speedwagon - I Do' Wanna Know

I like this video because it's funny. It's too bad that the song didn't become a bigger hit like their often played (even to this day) 1980s adult contemporary power ballads.

Because it's utterly depressing and uplifting at the same time, it's a whisper trying to survive, lost in a printed circuit,
a flicker of humanity soaring through the digital haze, cold metal, hard epoxy.
Oozing eros without showing a single patch of skin.
Possibly what will be left of us if don't put an end to
this killing of all things organic.

I don't want to turn it into a Björk spree, I'm not a fan,
but she had impeccable taste at the turn of the century.

Here is Michel Gondry, of "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" fame,
in one of his absolute and definitive DIY masterpieces,
making 3D without the use of glasses, using just simple superimpositions,
an old Vectrex® console, and some used christmas tree lights
found in his Grandma's attic.

As in the video above, I can only recommend
headphones on and lights off.

This is not music, this is a trip.
Alice falling from Iceland cliffs,
again and again and again...

I think Christopher Walken is self-explanatory enough.

The music video is a lost art, alas.

Because it ends in major?

Two Weeks
I know it hurts
You know I’d quench that thirst
(I can treat you better than the)
You say you're lonely
I say you'll think about it
Cause you're the only
One who resonates in that chaste, mouth open like (High)

Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the incisor and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

I know it hurts
You know I'd put you first
(I can fuck you better than her)
You say you want me
I say you'll live without it
Unless you're the only
One who instigates, got your mouth, open your heart

Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the incisor and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

Feel your body closing, I can rip it open
Suck me up, I'm healing for the shit you're dealing
Smoke on your skin to get those pretty eyes rolling
My thighs are apart for when you’re ready to breathe in
Suck me up, I'm healing with all the shit you're dealing
Motherfucker, get your mouth open, you know you’re mine

I’d put you first, just close your eyes and dream about it
Higher than a motherfucker dreaming of it, it’s my lovin’
I’ll quench your thirst, just get so high and stop your doubting
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)

Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the incisor and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

In 1977, during Led Zeppelin's US tour, his five-year-old son Karac died.[80] The song "All My Love", co-written by Jones, is a tribute to him.[81]
