i didn't like much this year. but hey, nothing new there lol

the few albums that i have listened to more than 10 times and would actually say i love, are:

01. negative capability - marianne faithfull

02. beyond the end - ed harcourt
03. heaven and earth (+ the choice) - kamasi washington

the first two of which were released in the last few months even. yet they are so brilliant,
both of them. i'm chuffed to bits with them and listen to them constantly.

before that, the whole year was just one meh release after the other, except for kamasi,
which was as good, if not even better than his previous album and ep.

everyone else's albums disappointed me, even the ones i was looking forward to, a lot. there
were quite a few cool songs tho. but end of year lists are for albums, to me, so i'm not going
to do a list of songs.

smile

Truthfully I didn't think mainstream 2018 had many hot songs as 2017 but my list is based off of mainstream radio hits.

Top 5 songs

Bruno Mars Finness (this is just a fun feel good song.)

Jhene Aiko Sativa (this song you have to BLAST this in your car, slightly turn up the bass)

Khalid, Normani Love lies

Ella Mai Bood up (fun summer memories of going to the lake and taking my 2 mile walk)

Hasley Live with out me (I just got into this song not long ago, its catchy and hasley is cute)

The only album relased last year that intrest me was Mariah Carey Caution (her released singles I did not feel were as strong as the other songs on her album) and Nicki Minaj Queen
