Article Claims Janet Jackson Launched Smear Campaign Against Timberlake and Madonna

https://medium.com/@rockl...83b9eebbb7

Look, I love Janet and Madonna. And I like Justin Timberlake. And I know not to usually take a Medium.com story seriously, but this just sounds legit. I know for a fact Janet didn't want to say hi to Madonna during the MTV Awards in 2009 -- I worked with MTV at the time. Anyhow, what do you guys think?

Wasn't it around the time she had lost brother Michael?

Resurrect Janet wanted their journalists to stress how Madonna “stole Vogueing” from the Queer African-American community ( a notion proven false by one Jezebel writer who was not involved with Resurrect Janet), how she exploited Black men for profit, and anything else to prove that she was a “racist.” Resurrect Janet created many accounts on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and websites such as Lipstick Alley, Prince.org, and Data Lounge in order to bash Madonna, especially using racial animosity to do so. Some of those accounts go as far as to bash Madonna’s African-American children. They’ve created at least 20 Kinja accounts to bash Madonna on sites such as Jezebel in the comments section.

hmmm lol

Lol! This sounds like a Madonna or Justin Timberlake Stan wrote this. It is no secret that both Janet and Madonna never liked each other. But it was Madonna who initiated that. Madonna was the one who allegedly said something foul about Janet to MJ. It was Madonna who according to her own dancer had more animosity towards Janet. Arsenio Hall even said he heard Madonna talking sh*t about Janet at an MTV award show. And finally Janet was asked to be apart of this years SB alongside Justin. She declined. She discussed this in an interview a couple of months ago. Saying there were conversations.

Madonna never pubiicly bashed Janet. But Janet took pride in joinging the anti-Madonna bandwagon by slut-shaming her in several interviews. I don't think any of them comes out the winner in this OLD feud. But I linked to the article because even though I want to believe it's false, there is so much stuff in there that is verifiable with a Google search. And a lot of it makes sense. There have been so many tweets accusing Madonna of being a racist (with thousands of likes and retweets). Then, when you check who retweeted or liked them, many are bot accounts. The same with anti-Timberlake tweets.

I hope it isn't real. But it certainly sounds real, and that is really scary. lol

The only person I have ever seen Janet talk sh*t about is Madonna. And it's because Madonna was talking mess behind the scenes. Her not doing it publicly doesn't mean anything. We all know she was doing it. Janet knew too. So she made her feeling known. How do the racist tweets about Madonna have anything to do with Janet? Madonna is a huge ass star but a lot of people do not like her and do think she is a culture vulture in the same way they think Justin is. That doesn't mean Janet has anything to do with it. The fact that this article mentions site like Lipstickally and Prince. Org only makes me believe this article was written by a Madonna Stan.

I'm totally shocked Janet would be so petty but I guess it goes to show that you never really "know" a pop star. lol

I initially was iffy about Janet doing that. But the same account published this article today and it spills the tea. There are receipts with it:

https://medium.com/@rockl...cafb26021

Apparently, Janet didn't initially have the votes to get in. But at the last minute, they took Kraftwerk out and put Janet it due to threats from Janet's team...allegedly, of course.

Her smear campaign against Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Les Moonves was not only unethical, but shouldn’t be rewarded

Lol. Fake

All Janet said was her and Justin needed ton talk.

In all honesty, who cares if Janet Jackson launched a smear campaign to get into some stupid Hall of Fame crap, that means absolutely NOTHiNG in the end! People don't remember that junk after your dead and gone, and what does it mean if indeed they do remember it? I find it meaningless and just ridiculous that people place such importance of things like this, when in true reality, and when all is said and done, it really means absolutely nothing at all!

LOL! Orgers aren't bots sent out by a 2014 campaign. We have been "woke" a hell of a lot earlier than BLM and MeToo. Simply check the archives from ten years earlier, and you can see how orgers felt about Nipplegate.

One thing is certain: there was/is a smear campaign against Justin Timberlake and I’m not even a Timberlake fan.

And if there was, and Janet was behind it, who can blame her, after the way Justin left her holding the bag after the Superbowl debacle, in which was a rotten thing to do!

Oh my goodness one artist talk sh*t about another artist how unusual. Yep Janet is the lynch pin in Justin's career.

Sorry I ain't buying this hmph! If Janet had that kind of clout, she wouldn't have been blacklisted for the last 14 years. I wonder if Les Moonves supporters are behind this hit piece?

Janet should smear Timberlake. She was the ONLY one punished for an incident at the Super Bowl that involved two people. One of them was blacklisted for a decade. The other went on to a mega-successful solo career and left her for dead and has still not been held accountable for his cowardice. F-ck him. And f-ck Les Moonves.

Which Timberlake or Madge stan wrote this? Who did Les Moonves pay? lol

Timberlake deserved the flack he got and it wasn't Janet that caused his last album to flop, that was on him.

Janet had all this influence to do it but not enough to keep "Unbreakable" and the previous albums on the chart? okay

I doubt any of this is true but if it is, who cares (at least in JT's case)?

What an absolute crock of shit.

My tweet about Justin being a disgrace was one of the most, if not the most viral tweet in the days leading up to the Superbowl, with over 10,000 retweets. If there's a smear campaign against him, then somebody owes me a cheque! lol

Exuses, exuses. Janet was unfairly blacklisted for Damita Jo, but there was no "boycott" of Discipline. It was just a bad album. "Feedback" received heavy airplay and went in heavy rotation on MTV. I love Janet, but the amount of exuses from her fans when Janet herself is to blame (partially) is wrong.

All that happened was the karma came back for that ass.

Yeah, Janet put out some uninspired albums after Damita Jo but let's not act like the Superbowl and its aftermath didn't leave a lasting effect

Just like Discipline was a "bad album" so was the last two albums Justin put out. Ain't no conspiracy. The folks weren't buying into him anymore

A lot of boxes have to be checked for the public for the public to buy into a pop star, and JT was missing quite a few. I think doing the Superbowl was too ironic for the general public who knew what happened the last time, and who was not there the second time.
