From the upcoming movie Widows, which comes out November 16 and stars Sade has released a song called "The Big Unknown".

From wikipedia:

Yes. Come through, queen. *curtsey*

By the sound of it, the movie just got more interesting to me. Darker.

It's good to hear Sade's voice over new music again. Would love to hear her over some new uptempo arrangements.

Didn't she release a song last year for A Wrinkle In Time? There's a pattern here - one movie soundtrack song a year. So in 2028 she will have enough to release a compilation. Keep your fingers crossed that it includes a bonus track.
Sade coming back in 2028!!!

Loved her Soldier of Love tour in 2010! cool I should say their tour, Sade the singer and Sade the band--because the band is great, too!

There is something so nourishing about Sade's music. She has always been one who understands the right words at the right time.
Her music resonates with my heart and soul and I literally almost couldn't finish listening to that song; it moves me so.
She definitely never needed videos.

You so nailed it here. I feel the same about Maxwell's first couple of records. It's like a healing bath for your spirit or soul to hear certain singer's music. George Michael was another, for me. The list is really short for these types of singers and their music. But those are three on it: Sade, Maxwell, George Michael.

Peabo Bryson - Looking For Sade (new live video. If you look closely, Jam & Lewis can be seen. 2nd video is the album version)

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
