I tried to Google a vid of Kim K dancing and there aren't any! Several links mention her refer to herself as a "non-dancer".

.

I think its kinda funny, tbh. Especially lumping her in with Paris Hilton as "club" dancing. Paris and Kim K both kinda represent the current nightlife scene by sucking the movement, rhythm, and creativity out of it and replacing it with selfies and posing. Also funny she has inflated her derriere but cannot do the twerking to a beat.

Good points. I'm just so far removed from all that is "Kardashian", because I think they represent much that is wrong with our culture today - materialism, self absorbtion, and shallow behavior at it's best No doubt that she and Paris Hilton catapulted the selfie movement. Zero talent + self absorbtion = the selfie movement smile

Times change, people said the beatles were wrong, prince was bad for the youth, rock and roll was evil. There is a culture and other people will always say its wrong.x

There are vast differences between the Beatles and Prince vs. Kim Kardashian, and two extremely important factors would be true musical tallent, which is isomething inherently valuable in our culture, and also insightful messages within much of their music that connected with a diverse following in this country and around the world.

I can't believe I am discussing what is wrong with putting the Beatles, Prince, and the Kardashians in the same sentence with regard to their positive contributions to our society. eek omg

I'm just saying, YOU try living with regret about something as petty as a dance. If he was still alive or whatever, I still wouldn't get up on that stage unless I tried to do the wooden leg or something. My back is in trouble now so even if I wanted to, that's about all I can manage right now.
Also, I'm still a little annoyed about the coding thing up in here. Up in here. Up in here.
I think I need to go reread Sheila E.'s book to recover.

On the highlighted portion of your response: exactly. You essentially just confirmed my comment regarding the fact that she should not have agreed to get on the stage in the first place. She just as easily could have respecfully declined from her spot in the audience. That was my point in the first place if you look at my prior comments.

This isn't just about "something as petty as a dance". This was PRINCE allowing her to have the spotlight with him in front of 20,000+ people!! There are celebrities - who actually deserve their celebrity, as opposed to Kim K - who Prince has pulled on stage, and they showed him the fullest respect and were overjoyed to be there with him. Her actions on that stage are quite indicative of her attitude and behavior on a regular basis. This is what happens when you are raised in an environment that does not enforce responsibility, accountability, or moral compass. She was spoiled and entitled from a young age, and now she is spoiled and entitled with a lot of money thanks to a young culture who supports this type of "celebrity". Yuck!!

Okay points taken are you trying to uh challenge me in the uh coding game there violetcrush?
The only thing I can think of I liked about the K sisters is they sure know how to run a boutique.
I can't comment about Kim too much but I think she loves her husband. I think he loves her too.
That's some serious spoiling. Spoiled I'm telling you.
They really looked fabulous on that stage whether or not they can dance. I love glitter.

This thread has nothing to do with Kim Ks marriage to Kanye West. I certainly wish them well, however, based on her prior track record on the marriage/relationship front, I personally would not invest much money on her current matrimony being a lasting uniion. So you're using her marriage to Kanye as an example of how "not spoiled" she is, but neglecting to mention her prior multi-million dollar media circus wedding to Chris Humphries, to which the marriage lasted 72 days. Pior to that one she was married to Damon Thomas for 3 years (I love Wikipedia!).

Here's Wiki's description of her major contribution to society:

Kimberly Noel Kardashian West[1] (born October 21, 1980) is an American reality television personality, entrepreneur and socialite. Kardashian first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, but received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J was leaked in 2007. Later that year, she and her family began to appear in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Its success soon led to the creation of spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami. Kardashian's personal life soon became subject to widespread media attention.[2]

In recent years, Kardashian has grown an influential online and social media presence, including tens of millions of followers on Twitter and Instagram.[3][4][5] She has released a variety of products tied to her name, including the successful 2014 mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, a variety of clothing and products, and the 2015 photo book Selfish. Her relationship with rapper Kanye West has also received significant media coverage; the couple married in 2014 and they have three children together.[6]

Time magazine included Kardashian on their list of 2015's 100 most influential people,[7] while Vogue described her in 2016 as a "pop culture phenomenon."[8] Critics and admirers have described her as exemplifying the notion of being famous for being famous.[9][10][11] She was reported to be the highest-paid reality television personality of 2015, with her total earnings exceeding US$53 million.[12]

I just wish you would have put some of that stuff in bold. Because I just don't see where on the post you would have entered that code. What was your favorite wiki fact? I didn't know she had 3 marriages and not two. Could any of her husbands dance is what I wonder.

She seemed awkward and embarassed. I'd be intimidated as hell too - I gotta dance in front of whom now?!?!! To me that was the only time Kim K came off somewhat relatable everr.

I just don't buy that at all. This is a chick who became famous because of a leaked sex tape, has posted basically naked pics of herself on the web (see example below), and pretty much says whatever pops out of her brain on any given reality show episode. I think it was her keeping up with her "I'm the "it" girl now, and I'm too cool to try to dance iwith you" attitude. This is not a chick who is easily embarrassed or intimidated. She's just full of herself in every way.

Good point. I was just countering the excuses for her behavior on stage with Prince, which was nothing but typical...but in doing so I have fed into the Kardashian fame whore situation, which is exactly what gave them the fame in the first place. Shame on me - I am done here cool
