You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Thanks Namepeace! Did you check out the album? I’m amazed that Prince fans don’t know about IAMX. The similarities are endless, both in their characters, music and style. smile

I redicovered an old favorite band of mine from the 80s when I heard one of their songs recently. I got out my old XTC CDs and have been enjoying them. This song is juvenile but it is fun. Definitely a male companion piece to Janelle's "Pink".

^ yes Love both tracks u posted. TLC were my shit in the early 2 mid 90s. Everything they did was gold 2 me. Keep in mind that I was quite the young'n back then n had no idea what Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg was about or what Get It Up even meant, I still remember the look my folks gave me when I showed them the Get It Up single I had just bought nuts. They r still delightful now that I do now wink lol.

For all time I am with you, you are with me.
