Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas Residency

Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residency is no longer a mystery.

The singer announced details of the show, called Enigma, this morning. The residency, taking place at the Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort, will include 23 Enigma dates and 4 jazz and piano engagement.

The Enigma show is described as “a brand new odyssey of her pop hits built as an experience unlike any other,” while the jazz and piano show will feature stripped-down versions of her hits plus classics from the Great American Songbook.

"I can't wait to share Enigma with all of my fans and with Las Vegas,” Gaga says in a statement. “We're creating a show unlike anything I've done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love and music."

Members of Gaga's Little Monsters fan community will have access to a special pre-sale beginning Wednesday, August 8 at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets to the general public go on sale Monday, August 13 at 10 a.m. PT.

She's a great live performer, saw her on the Joanne Tour and she know how to perform, so she will do great with this. Her material never really grabs me though. I don't know whats lacking...

Sure beats laborious touring.

Britney, Mariah and even Bruno Mars have played extended gigs in Vegas for astronomically big paychecks. Gone are the days when a Vegas residency signaled a declining career.

Vegas itself has become a playground for young people and not the elderly like last century...

So Britney and Mariah careers aren't on a decline? What's the last platinum hit album or single either one of them had. When a Taylor, Beyonce, or Adele, artist who are still relevant and producing paltinum albums/singles begin doing it then it's different, as of right now its the same, its just that artist today like Britney and Gaga success are fading away quicker. In fact i dont think Gaga (especially with how big her ego is) during a Las Vegas venue if she was still selling 20 million albums and producing #1 singles. As far as Bruno is concerned he has always been hot and cold in the success area.

Oh, my. Someone had better caution the Weeknd, J. Cole, Sam Smith, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift against performing in Vegas again lest someone conclude they're washed up.

With the huge Oscar buzz surrounding the upcoming Star is Born and the sellouts around the country, she is hardly washed up. She is battling on radio and streaming towards more hip-hop/rap.
