Dirty Projectors' nod to Prince on new album artwork?

Take a look at the cover of the Dirty Projectors new album, Lamp Lit Prose... (if I knew how to upload an image here, I would)....

a little nod to Prince, I think. Too much to be coincidence...

look at the way those flowers are thrown down, and what do red and blue make?

Certainly a resemblance to the border/back of the PR album sleeve and the WDC cover. Might be just a generic look, but they could be giving a subtle nod. hmmm

You saw that and said, "um, no"? What were you looking with?

Just curious.

Thank you. A nod was all I said it was... how anyone can see that and not see the connection is, well....

It's doubtful they've ever even seen that cover, but when Prince borrowed/copied it was somehow clever, artistic and inventive, like everything he took from Hendrix.

Yeah. ... if it were spinning with the two circles on the sleeve; it'd probably look purple.... the album might as well on a turn table but it's less likely.

They look like yin and yang things almost, joined. ...kinda Princey in its own way. He being a Gemini, would've given an approval to something like this that "represented the twins" probably.

Yeah it would look purple probably as a picture disc.
