i've given all their music post year zero many many listens, hoping some of it would
grow on me, but none of it really has. the slip and hesitation marks do very little for
me and the EP's, eventhough i bought both of them in 'physical format', i don't like at
all.

HTDA would have been a nice NIN album if it'd had trent on vocals.

and i appreciate the soundtrack work he's been doing, that's some good stuff too, but
not exactly another classic NIN record (not that it's meant to be, but yeah, you know)
same goes for the entirety of ghosts. great stuff, but, well..

i do kind of like this track since it's weird enough but there's also a song, however bland
the lyrics are, in there somewhere.

still hoping that the new record will be better and better. i'm yearning for another NIN
release to actually love.

That was my first impression as well. As a Bowie fanatic I'm intrigued. I like when artists evolve and come at you with something they haven't quite done before. So although I haven't picked up their last few albums I might give this one a try. Last one I really got into was Hesitation Marks.

Change it one more time..

During a show on Nine Inch Nails' Las Vegas run last month, Trent Reznor and company invited Gary Numan on stage to perform the New Wave veteran's song "Metal." If you weren't at the show, NIN has released an official live video of the collaboration.
