Rapper XXXTentacion, 20, shot and killed in Florida

I think someone recently made a post about XXXTentacion. I wasn't really a fan of his music but its still sad to hear that dude died so young. He was a wild one, so who knows the reason why he was killed.

Rest In Peace...

Full article here.
http://www.nydailynews.co...story.html

[Pic wayyy tooo biggie for bandwidth - luv4u]

Rapper XXXTentacion was reportedly shot and killed Monday in Florida by an unidentified gunman who fled the scene.

TMZ reports the 20-year-old musician was leaving a Deerfield Beach, Fla., motorcycle dealership in a black BMW when he was approached by the shooter, who allegedly nabbed a Louis Vuitton bag from the vehicle.

A witness told the gossip site the rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, appeared “lifeless with no pulse.”

The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed that police had responded to a shooting in the area, and that an adult male victim had been taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ revealed the attack was a possible drive-by, and that the rapper was described as “comatose.”

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Closer to Fort Lauderdale. I heard this on the news but I have no idea who this kid is?

Word down here is that he was ambushed and robbed after he withdrew a large amount of cash to purchase a motorcycle. He was killed outside of the dealership.

Maybe his boys set him up???

To JoeyC, please change title from Miami to Deerfield, FL.

luv4u, I really find your post VERY offensive on many levels. He wasn't killed over drugs or neither was he killed over gang related beef. I know the kid mom for goodness sakes and if anybody else posted what you just said it would be snipped and considered heartless due to somebody was killed.

To the rest of the org, please stop looking at hip hop and R&B artists deaths as drug and gang related stuff, especially when the person is not caucasian. None of us are perfect and deserve to be gunned down for a LV bag and cash. Even if they are bragging about it, robbery and murder is the same for everyone whether they are famous or not.

I can only imagine what you all are going to say besides RIP.

Police said an expensive bag was also stolen someone ran up to his car and shot him is what the report says that tells me it was someone you know, a beef, something, it doesn’t sound like a random robbery, but either way a life is a life.

Well the thing is your living that lifestyle and not separating it, home invasion charges, robbery, witness tampering, alleged domestic abuse of a pregnant woman, that is a little more than someone with speeding tickets. Not saying anyone deserves to to be shot and killed, but your living a life as if you could care less what happens to you.

I said the damn truth, I'm not in no damn mood for the back and forth Marrk Murica. If you don't like the obvious I pointed out about hip hop and R&B deaths being considered gang or drug related. And from your Murica post you must be british, because Murica is a slander remark at Americans.

The kid was robbed and killed at gun point, had nothing to do with any gangs or drugs. Don't twist my damn words to fit your narrative of wanting to be a hero and make me out to be bad. But if that is what you want to do please make my day, because I never said anything about anyone life being last important than the other. If you take what I said as that, then fuk ya and everyone else who wants to agree with you on something I never said.

I'm in the same spot where if I don't make a change I'm going to die soon. He talked about how he might die, that he just wanted to make an impact to 5 million kids and didn't care if he died. It was really touching what he said but he was vibrationally in a bad place and I got him. I felt the same way battling the NWO but now I want to live and I'm trying to pull out of it. I wish could have talked to him about life and got his vibrations into better place.

Wow! Dude actually stopped all that and was trying his best to do better. But y'all don't come after senators who rape, sexually abuse, rob the poor, and beat and kill innocent people. If it was them I bet "oh it was prolly drug or gang related, not surprised." That boy was crying for help, unfortunately down in poverty areas like Lauderhill up to Duval, FL a lot people his age can't get no job and the damn system sends all the criminals to our neighborhoods. A lot of kids 13 - 18 do petty thefts to help out the household to pay rent. Is it right, no. Malcolm X used to rob folks too, and he didn't killed for drugs or gang related situations or for his past criminal history. It's a lot of others who is doing the same crimes and being praised for them and worse crimes.

Y'all still not going to understand because you all too perfect than everybody. But if that was your son, brother, or relative you wouldn't be saying the stuff you are saying. I give up because only the people living in this hell hole understand while the rest of you sit back and basically celebrate us being killed and then go dig some shit about past crimes and compare them to us being murdered and to comfort your stereotyping thoughts.

Luv4u, if this was your child the last thing you want somebody to tell you is "he was killed prolly over drugs and gang relations"

based on the recent news around this kid, this is unfortunately no suprise...i remember a while back when someone just walked onstage and knocked him out cold, while he was rapping...ever since then, its been a rapid downward news cycle around this kid...makes me wonder if the pregnant girl he has was alleged to have beaten, has put some goons on him, or if karma has come to collect dues...either way, sad but predictable story

I agree with what you are saying. My thing though, is that he was only 20 years old. He made some extremely poor choices in his short life, but he's never going to get a chance to grow and mature from the person that he was. And that's sad.

Anyway, right now there's all kinds of beefs in underground rap(i am not implying that XXXTentacion got killed because of a rap beef). Besides XXX, another rapper got shot today. And a couple weeks ago three more got shot(two died).

I have my own opinions about the current state of underground rap(and current rap in general), but now's not the time.

So, you guys try to keep it cordial. I know there's probably some strong feelings on both sides of the debate on the state of rap, and the behavior of certain rap artists. Maybe now's just not the time(or maybe it is hmmm ).

Whatever the reasons for XXX getting killed, hopefully they will catch the killers. And my sympathy to his loved ones.

And as soon as the mods let me change the title, i will.

Twenty years old...Damn.

First of all I come after ANYONE who rapes and abuses anyone especially women I also would support any movement similar to metoo that would actually go after domestic abusers but also ones that are employed by music labels sports teams Etc... because they are enabling a lot by shelling out cash to people. We are quick to kick people off tv and films...but when have you ever seen someone lose their record deal because they abused someone? Or got caught with a weapon.

Go ask mystikal, Ike Turner, and some others. But lastdecember i'm not posting at you, that was for luv4u. Also the pregnant girl was hit while he was still teenager, so are we putting teenagers in jail now domestic violence? If so middle school and highschool students would be 70% of the jail prisoners. Not excusing domestic violence but that same pregnant girl should be in jail for domestic violence also for beating up two girls on different nights at Club Iguana in Pembroke Pines off university drive. I never accussed you of not supporting any movements.

But it's still wrong luv4u to say that he was prolly killed over drugs or gang relations. As a black man in the south border of America we get that stereotype and the majority of us don't even sell drugs let alone done drugs or even joined a gang. That kid did all his crimes as a teenager because that's mentors he had in front of him. And he was trying to fight his demons, and minus the crimes, that was me.

I use to feel like I wasn't going to make it around his age and was scared I was going to die early because of my surroundings in miami in brownsville. You know what I give up, y'all don't get it and never will. Just continue mocking us (not you lastdecember), but others on this board always talk down about artists like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and even Prince and this supposed to be a fan board towards him. Somebody tell the truth on here, they are trolls, somebody say be considerate on here to luv4u she will snip it and if they make a opinion she don't agree with she will snip it. But now she saying doesn't do that. Ask the board members and I'm sure they will agree.

Then people come on here from different countries trying to tell us how to live poverty not knowing a damn thing we go through unless it's on the news. If you speak up for fairness you are jumped. Yes dude did some bad things but so did everybody, whether it was worse or less worse. This feel like trayvon martin all over again and Tasir Rice.

If I have son I have to touch him how to live around people thinking like luv4u all because he is colored in USA, so he don't get killed like XXX, 2pac, Malcolm X, and MLK. IF this was a caucasian 7/10 they would've counted all of them as mental illness.

Well you clearly don't understand what he's saying. The reason that what luv said is so damn offensive is that she automatically assumed that the killing must be drug or gang related because the victim was a black kid.

[Luv4U wasn't making the assumption based on race, but profession]

Can't say I have a lot of sympathy for a person who supposedly abused women (physically AND emotionally) and almost beat a guy to death in prison because he thought the guy was gay and coming onto him. Sure, it sucks to see anyone die young instead of growing and contributing something more positive to the world, but at the very least he didn't deserve the riches and acclaim of having a successful music career. Anyone who displays that kind of violence towards others needs to get their shit together, make things right with everyone they hurt, and then maybe they can think about being a music 'star'.

See my first post because that's what I'm hearing. I'm about 45 minutes from where he was killed and I lived in Brown-sub many years ago.

His sister was on youtube talking trash about him and his mom 2 months ago. I'm not going to post the video out of respect but I'm sure she feels very bad now.

Even if he did have a troubled upbringing why would she put their whole business out there like that?

I really hate how this generation puts every damn thing on social media. Smfh.

Regardless if he was troubled. He was a human. It's tragic he died. I thought the final message was telling and I thought about what he said it is important what we think and dream. I'm for instance vibrationally in a bad place now, so I'm trying to take care of myself physically but I'm nervous tying up with the wrong crowd. I'm trying to pull out of this state. What he said was actually from deep spiritual knowledge. Very heartfelt and touching. I will checkout his rap. Though he was troubled according to the thread I don't know he had an interesting soul, spirit that I feel.
