Beyonce is receiving backlash from her fans over OTRII

From the clips I saw it’s clear Beyoncé’s energy was really off. I was very surprised. I don’t like that they started the tour without new music. I understand things happen but if they’re going to release it AFTER the tour then I see why people would be mad. And if she releases music mid tour the fans at previous cities will feel ripped off.
She really shouldn't release anything new until after. Because if she does midway that would piss off her fans even more. It is unfair to those who watched opening night while spending thousands of dollars on VIP seats with nothing new then a few dates later she drops a new album.

Since they started with nothing, they should be fair to everyone and finish with nothing new.

It is what it is.
Rehab Jay’s image? His fans do not give a single fuck about his infidelity. Her fans do, but how would that impact him? If he needed to fulfill something with Live Nation then he could have done his own U.S. tour, make it a small venue tour with live music. Hip hop shows are better consumed in small venues. He would sell out. Then, that brings me to why do this tour? Too much to lose, not enough to gain. Now they are at risk of fan fatigue

.. which is why it would probably be in her best interest, and that of her fans, to take. a. break. A long one. Then come back with new music and a new tour like they want. At this point in her career, her fans will wait for her but it should only be as long as she gives her best. Why should they want a half-assed show every year and a half instead of something amazing every three to five years?

Her entire solo career has been based on promoting their relationship.

Her fans are driving this whole machine. Like you said his fans don't care enough about it to pay that much to see them in concert, especially when they can stream 4:44 and see him give interviews talking about their marriage for almost free.

There's a whole generation of people who love Jay simply for being Beyonce's husband and probably have never heard an album/song he released before they married except "Big Pimpin'" and maybe some stuff off the Vol 2: Hard Knock Life album.

They need her fans to accept this love story (which is why they have to plaster on screen "THIS IS REAL LOVE") and pay however much money for the chance to see images of their children, wedding, vow renewals, vacays, etc. They've been on this journey with her since the beginning. If she's staying with Jay, they gotta stay with Jay.

As for me, I'd love to see a smaller venue Jay tour. Maybe something like Storytellers, another run with The Roots like his Unplugged album, or some sort of orchestra like Nas did for PBS.

She looks weird there, but that wasn't a dance break. Lots of fans were commenting on how her energy seemed off. They quoted the dance break that she did on tour and at coachella. They said she didn't have the same energy and seemed tired. They also said she didn't sing as much as usual. All you have to do is on twitter and look at the comments.

Beyonce needs to regroup. Without Jay Z.

Coachella was peak Beyonce. She should have let people marinate on it and enjoy it, I could sit through that entire show right now. But the OTRII tour was not necessary.

When your core audience is blowing you off you need to regroup.

She should fake sick and get out of the shit TBH

Fuck Jay Z

Yes to all of this. Bey needs to take a break and just raise her babies. I watched clips and she still did good but I also think she's tired. I feel like Jay's contractual obligations wear off on her and is probably why she's doing this tour.

I'm bummed. I know nothing was promised but in light of it being their 10 year anniversary I ran out and immediately bought tickets, thinking that a joint album would drop and then tickets would only be available for resale in the hundreds. Now I'm looking at these tired clips and my show in ATL is FAR from sold out. So it's unlikely I can even sell the tickets.

After Coachella I was really excited about this tour and thought they'd have something special planned. Doesn't look like that's the case.

It's just disappointing. I'm sure I'll have fun regardless but I expect more as a stan. I'm still holding out hope for something new but if she looks tired doing old stuff I highly doubt she has a new lineup prepared.

Someone else mentioned that she's been riding on this relationship for her whole career. I lowkey agree. Now that Lemonade/444 came out what else could they possibly say about their relationship? How else can they beat it into the ground? Who knows what her next album will be like...but I think she's losing steam.

At this point ill take just one new song smh

this was obviously filler tour. I expect alot from bey, but this 2nd tour has Jay-z stench all over it.

Happyperson never comments on anything. He or she just post articles, does the same thing on another site. I guess it's the same person, because the name is the same.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Most people on Twitter need to get a life. They will say things they would never say to someone's face.
