OutKast

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Outkast Reunites to Celebrate Big Boi's Son's High School Graduation in Georgia
5/12/2018 by Mitchell Peters Billboard

Outkast's Big Boi and André 3000 reunited once again to celebrate the high school graduation of Big Boi's son Andre “Bamboo” Patton II on Saturday (May 12).

The proud father shared numerous social media posts from the Georgia school, including a video ceremony and a photo of himself alongside his son and fellow Outkast member André 3000.

“Thank you Jesus !” Big Boi captioned the video. “My Baby Boy just Graduated with Honors !!! Antwan Andre’ Patton II ‘Bamboo’ #PattonBoys @woodwardacademy Class of 2018 #WithHonors #NextStopCollege.”

The question still remain whether Outkast will ever release another album, but the duo reunited for a tour in 2014, which included a headlining slot at Coachella. The hip-hop group's last release was Idlewild in 2006.

Meanwhile, the two rappers have been keeping busy with their own projects. Big Boi released the album Boomiverse in 2017, while André 3000 appeared on the track “Rollinem 7s” from N.E.R.D’s latest album, No_One Really Dies.
