Celebrity spotting at Prince concerts We've all read reports about Prince asking celebs to dance on stage at exclusive afterparties. Some of it is even on YouTube. But never mind that. I'm wondering what celebrities you have seen at Prince concerts you attended?
In 2002, I attended a Swedish concert during the One Nite Alone... Tour and sat next to Swedish soul singer Stephen Simmonds. I remember Prince used to play some of Stephen's songs over the PA system before concerts, and I think he was even featured on the NPG Audio Show once. A few rows ahead of us was Per Gessle of Roxette fame, but he up and left halfway through the concert. | |

George Michael Naomi Campbell standing right behind me Jean Paul Gaultier standing right next to Naomi German singer Herbert Grönemeyer German singer and rapper Jan Delay ....and a couple more that I don´t remember off the top of my head. Too many to mention but i'll ry. At the Conga Room show in LA in 2/09 i was stadning next to Jesse jackson. Jackson, Cornel West, tavis Smiley & others were dancing on stage at one point.
At House of Blues after grammy jam in 04' I saw Diddy & Naomi Campbell.
Nokia Theatre in 09 i was standing behind cuba gooding, ice Cube was a few rows to my left and Magic Johnson parted the red sea when he walked in, they love Magic down there.
Conga Room again 3/09 Eddie Murphy was there & apparently Ron Wood who I didn't see.
Saw Beck walking out of a show in 01 during the Hit N Run tour in LA
Theres more but i can't recall them right now. Being able to go down to LA for shows meant you were bound to see celebs if that's your thing.
