ahh, Santana. he is so solid in his musicianship. i love, attending his summer evening amphitheatre concerts.
get me up front and center, so as the dusk ascends and the stars begin to twinkle overhead one by one, they seem to sparkle in time and sincapation to Santana free flowing guitar riffs.
the man is awesome.
also he is backed by some greatest musicians of our time.
thx 4 sharing ur words via ur santana concert enjoyment.

I know exactly what you mean nod I've seen him at amphitheatre shows in the summertime and it's just amazing.Hearing a song like "Europa" on a warm summer night while the stars are out in the sky...it's almost like a spiritual experience!

Right on! I completely agree. Can't wait to see Carlos outdoors again. I simply love his Live from Mexico DVD too. It's got to be at least 20 years old, but it's very moving and spiritual.

Legend. When Prince passed away, tributes where focused mostly on Purple Rain, I Would Die 4 U and few other hits. Santana blasted 'Last December'.

Unfortunately,Santana has a residency deal at Vegas House of Blues, which is why he doesn’t play at Shoreline anymore confused I guess they assume that Bay Area fans live close enough to see him in Vegas?
