This was already posted in Associated Artists when it came out because of her being Prince's ex, but I've been listening to it again. I LOVE her voice.

Change it one more time..

They both have very nice voices!

[Edited 3/10/18 9:38am]

They both are insanely brilliant songwriters.

Jacob Collier is a multi-instrumentalist one-man-band like Prince, playing guitar, keyboards, drums, bass, etc. on the level of some of the best jazz players. He is also a Grammy-winning (orchestral) arranger, producer, music technology innovator, musical theorist, etc.

Quiincy Jones has said that he has never met anyone as talented as Jacob Collier. Quincy Jones....

Jacob Collier is debuting his first band next week in London, with Rob Mullarkey on bass, Pedro Martins on guitar, George Spanky McCurdy on drums.

Nai Palm is currently recording the third album with Hiatus Kaiyote, after releasing her solo debut last year. Prince was a Hiatus Kaiyote fan, attended their concert in Minneapolis, watched from the audience from beginning to end.

Ironically, before even seeing this thread Nai Palm came up in autoplay on Youtube after listening to someone else and I noticed her name because I really liked the sond she was singing. But thanks for mentioning them I've added them to my google play playlist so I can get to know them better.

Moss Kena from the UK. This definitely has some Purple influence, but my jam is the song Problems. Got a mid 90s Blackstreet vibe.

last truly GREAT album I heard was EMILY'S D+EvoLution by Esperanza Spalding...but that's gotta be at least a year old now.

(doesn't mean it ISN"T great)... not a fan of her radio society album, nor the chamber music society one... but this last one was awesome...as was her Self Titled 2nd album

I'm way out of the loop on music... life's pretty tricky right now :-/

This track is Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in May, written, produced and performed by Benjamin Ingrosso, a cousin of the Swedish House Maffia member Sebastian Ingrosso. To me, this has a nice old school vibe and I see a lot of inspiration from George Michael/MJ/Justin Timberlake/Prince in this. I find this track strangely infectuous. Makes me smile and tap my feet.

Not really new, but something I just found online. The artist Karin Park has many other videos with thousands of views (and has released a few albums as well), but this is a hidden live gem with relatively few views. This is a pretty impressive output from just two people. Karin's brother plays everything live: drums, organ/bass with his foot, triggering synth loops with his hands.

Ricky Bell & Amy Correa Bell - Gold

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
