MTV SHELF LIFE

So I know that on the radio, at least nowadays, a song has a shelf life of about 5 years at the MOST before it's pulled from airplay, from what I've noticed. But, about how long was the shelf life for a video? Like how long could a video have been on airplay before it fizzled out? I've been interested in the effect videos have had on music recently (and yes they still exist it's called YouTube) lol

Hm... last music video I watched... hm...

.

Also 5 years on for most tunes is either regret, legend, or throwback nowadays.

if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2
