I'll admit it, I loved "Heartbeat" back in the day. It was pure 80s schmaltz, along with Jack Wagner's "All I Need". TV stars singing, it was hit or miss, and the hit was usually one time, and the miss was epic when it happened.

Edward James Olmos was the lead singer of a rock band called Pacific Ocean that released an album in 1968. He went by the name Eddie James.

yeahthat I recently bought the Miami Vice boxset, it was a great show and some had cool guest stars nod However, I didn't like the film version.

Also I really liked that song Don Johnson did with Barbra Streisand (when they dated back in the 80s) called Till I Loved You (1988) biggrin

Thanks for the memory (wasn't that a Barbra song?) LOL I totally forgot about this one... Funny Barbra was my first musical she-ro when I saw her on TV at four or five years old singing "Don't Rain On My Parade" on the tugboat from Funny Girl. It was our first color TV... lol
