POLL: Michael Jackson’s Greatest Songs

Ask any Michael Jackson fan which songs are his very best, and the answer will probably be “That’s impossible. He’s got too many great songs.” So, in an attempt to do the impossible, we’re giving you an opportunity to let your voice be heard.

To keep things scoped, we’re only focusing on Michael’s solo material from Got to Be There (1972) to Xscape (2014). Please leave a vote next to your choices with this criterion in mind:

★★★★★ (Classic)
★★★★ (Great)
★★★ (Good)
★★ (Average)
★ (Poor)

You know...i never noticed his kids were in that artwork. Nor "the ladies in his life" (humor intended? ) but there's no Debbie Rowe.

Anyways. Thanks for the link. I may try that when i get some time. It's always a curious thing and a bit revealing to tell where certain songs rank among fans.

However, considering the people likely to contribute; i doubt it'd be anything more than the hits and no "deep cuts"

I also noticed several elements in the mural that I didn't catch the first time. You're welcome for the link. I shared the survey with several Facebook groups so there's an equal opportunity for the deep cuts to appear with his beloved classics.

Wasn't this artwork done after his death, though? The artist would not have considered Rowe anyway, probably, opposed to MJ being around & purposely saying "don't put her in there".

I never noticed Prince, Paris, and Bigi on there, either. I bought the CD, but the artwork on a CD is so small I never look at it as closely like I would with an LP.

As a sidenote, Prince was on Access Hollywood talking about his dad, continuing a heal the world type charity w/ his sister, and talks about Bigi's perfectionism with creating a haunted house at home. Apparently only Paris has talent in singing, and Prince admitted he can't dance to save his life; neither can Bigi.

Dangerous is, without question, a musical masterpiece, and I'm glad this survey reminded you of how much you appreciate the record!

DonRants

I started going down the list and it was classic after classic. Then we got to some of the latter stuff (history0 on and the quality just wasn't there on some of it.

I don't have an MJJCommunity account. However, you're more than welcome to copy my link and post it yourself since I'm juggling a few projects at the moment.

Oh man, I can't believe I missed that one. That's one of my favorite Off the Wall-era cuts.

I just went back and saw "You Can't Win" was on the list. Scroll down to 2004's The Ultimate Collection.
