ok, i'm a bit jaded and out of touch with the contemporary music scene. i have low expectations and a high bar for what gets my ear's time, let alone my money. I heard Green and Gold while driving in Detroit on a local, public radio show called Culture Shift. it was SO REFRESHING to experience radio function like it SHOULD. playing the unexpected, exposing a worthy, relatively "underground" artist. (this song was juxtaposed with an old Dramatics song) i was like, WHO IS THIS.... and IS THERE MORE WHERE THAT COMES FROM. Needless to say i YT'd it and saw that it was LL, who I've heard good things about. so i guess this is where i'd need a streaming platform to select and play "similar" so i can see what else i'm sleeping on. does anyone actually have an ALBUM'S worth of songs this goo.? Imagine that....!
