Love to Gord and his family. He was an amazing musician and very caring person. He will be missed, but he's left us with such great music that will live on.

I've casually known and enjoyed the Hip's work for about 20 years, but it's been really rich since my relocation to Canada to discover just what they mean here. They -- and Gord -- are national treasures. May he rest in peace.

For a long time I've been hearing how good the Tragically Hip were, but i never listened to their music. Since Mr Downie's passing I've been hearing snippets of their music and it sounds really good. I got to check them out.

Regardless, Rest in Peace to Mr Downie. It seems like he was well liked and well loved. rose

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
