Classic Detroit's ONE and ONLY Electrifying MOJO

For as long as I've been on The Org, I've told y'all the stories of how listening to Detroit's ONE and ONLY Electrifying MOJO was my bedtime stories from back when I was just a little kid. And he was personally responsible for shaping and cultivating my vast eclectic appreciation for music.

Well here he is from 1982, when I was only 12. wink

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

The best radio dj ever! I grew up in Warren, Michigan and listened to the Electrifying Mojo too throughout the 80's. For me he added to Prince's mystique at that time. So cool.

Yes! Loved Mojo! He and Rosetta Hines. They were the ones who always played album cuts and never stuck to an assigned playlist.

When I was young, and a faithful Mojo listener... I couldn't fucking stand "Mesopotamia" .... I love it now, but back then, no.
Listening to this tape, now I remember why: he used to play that song 3 or 4 times a night. It's on this tape 3 times here.

Keep your headphones on.
