Would you mind explain yourself?

Well, over the years he becomed more cheesy, overall style, appereance, he never developed that character that adorns his early delightfull qurikiness (of the wall, forever michael etc)... even Jarvis Cocker wanted to kick his ass on stage in mid-90's.

That does not explain much, but it's allright.

TrivialPursuit, you make a great observation. I have heard both songs, but I never noticed the similarity.

I heard Stevie's "Higher Ground" earlier in a commercial or somewhere. It was sort of in the background. I was jamming with the groove, and he was at the "higher ground..." part, then I instantly found myself singing "...just stop doggin' me around".

It hit me. MJ's "Leave Me Alone" is almost a fucking clone of "Higher Ground".

MJ was always a bit cheesy for my taste, unlike Steve who is a complete songwriting genius (maybe cheesy with that christams album lol )

Stevie, to me, is great at his best but has his fair share of over-sentimentality and sugarcoated cheesecake tracks himself. As a representative of the criminal UN, his geopolitical cluelessness doesn't impress me either.

What are you getting at with that comment? and what are those songs you consider "over- sentimentality sugarcoated cheesecake tracks?

Stevie gets paid by the criminal UN to further their globalist agenda. But this isn't the place for politics. Do a search for Stevie Wonder UN

There are lots of songs where I think he crosses the line into shmaltz. When he is brilliant he is brilliant tho.

stevie definitely has some cheese in his catalog...as much or more than MJ...no disrespect to either one though...and Stevie had/has definitely been a UN puppet for years
