Stevie, to me, is great at his best but has his fair share of over-sentimentality and sugarcoated cheesecake tracks himself. As a representative of the criminal UN, his geopolitical cluelessness doesn't impress me either.

There are lots of songs where I think he crosses the line into shmaltz. When he is brilliant he is brilliant tho.

stevie definitely has some cheese in his catalog...as much or more than MJ...no disrespect to either one though...and Stevie had/has definitely been a UN puppet for years
