The estate can take pointers from gene Simmons Anyone see Gene Simmons new release The Vault I think the estate can take some pointers not just by content but marketing as well . Just my honest opinion . But not the price lol. |

Do not give them any ideas. I don't want to buy a physical vault with 10CDs in it.
I'm sure there'll be a regular release of Gene's Vault at some point, but $2000 as a starting price is crazy...albeit with a meet and greet with him (yuk, no thanks).
I know we've all moaned about the Purple Rain deluxe reissue to some extent, but you can't knock the sheer value for money element of the first posthumous Prince archive release. | |

I don't think anybody should be taking pointers from Gene Simmons, unless they're looking for the most efficient way to become an egotistical asshole. That's about the only thing this guy is good at nowadays. His band might have been cool in the 70's, but even then they weren't the best at writing rock songs OR putting on shocking shows. People had The Stooges for that. | |

Nah, they could be taking pointers from the still alive Bob Dylan, though. Dylan's "Bootleg Tapes" releases have been outstanding and a similar series of releases for Prince would be must buys "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them.
