Next month, SWV will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, "It's About Time".

I loved this record when it dropped. Forgot how much "Coming Home" was basically Teddy being lazy with essentially the same track from Hi-Five's "Kissing Game". The song I kept going back to was an interlude when it first came out and eventually became a hit on its own, "Anything."

These girls were sure horny too. (And I didn't mind that either). Very hit-laden record.

FYI, Teddy didn't write nor produced Coming Home

That makes it even worse. Mr. Michael Brown bit Teddy's style hard. Thanks for the info and the memories. It was never one of my favorites but the comparison just stood out for me when revisiting earlier today.

After the success of "Right Here/Human Nature," they rereleased the album with it as the bonus track (replacing a different remix of lead single "Right Here" IIRC). However, I don't think they replaced the original version of "Weak" with the single mix (or slightly different video mix) with rerecorded vocals and they definitely should have.
