The YouTube comment section is a vast swamp. I'd imagine every single deceased artist has vile comments from internet trolls attached to them.

Leave them be and focus on the fact that we're getting official videos on full display on YouTube.

Exactly. Reading YouTube comment sections in the first place for almost any video may actually kill brain cells.

I rest my case.

Likewise, some Prince fans (including yourself it seems) are insecure because of MJ's far greater and universal popularity so they lash out and try to minimize the man's accomplishments.

Your way of lashing out is one of the most passive-aggressive I've seen.

I am a MJ Fan too, and where did I minimize his accomplishments? I got a Problem with MJ Fans who insult people just because they're Prince Fans
My response to another one of your posts doubles as my response to this one as well.

I feel that Prince and his associates wanted nothing more, besides kicking A** on the stage, to have Prince and MJ fans holding hands.

>

Prince consistently worked MJ songs into his concert reperitoire after the man's untimely death. When I saw The Revolution tour this year, they played the shizz out of Michael Jackson songs in their pre-show DJ set.

>

People just stubbornly seem to want to elevate the one artist over the other: there's just this battle of ages between fans of the multi-instrumentalist ultra-prolific radical-punk-funkster-shredder-crooner guy vs the decades-ruling singing-dancing-G.O.A.T. hitmaster pop lord.

Last night i read that book Let's Go Crazy: Prince and the Making of Purple Rain. So, I'm definitely feeling a certain type of way, today...

My opinion is fuck the haters. And that includes Michael Jackson fans(if they are hating on Prince).

I feel kinda silly even commenting on that hating bullshit, but...

No doubt Mike was Bad, but Prince was just as bad...And maybe even more so.

Regardless, and including Rick James(and of course, others), us soul, funk rock and R&B music lovers have lost three of the best, ever. And that's been heartbreaking. cry

I am so pissed right now, I got to get this off my chest. We all know that Prince's estate uploads his Videos every friday, right? Well, what bothers me so much, are MJ Fans who come up there and start talking shit, and I ignored it most of the time, but it's really getting on my nerves, because they can't shut up. It's not against MJ but it bothers me because they really disrespect Prince's legacy, I have never seen a Prince Fan commenting hateful things under MJ's Videos.

I swear, go watch Partyman (the short version) and read the comments, it's sick. Who's running that account? Can't they delete these comments, it's really disrespectful, they expact respect towards MJ but shit on Prince's legacy, it's pissing me off right now.

Sorry for another MJ Thread, but I want the estate to delete these comments or I start to spam MJ Videos with hate comments.

EDIT: Was too lazy to write the whole issue all over again.

Prince's estate needs to block this people because it feels like it's going out of hand. And I don't want to read hate comments from MJ Fans under Prince Videos, it's like pissing on his legacy.

The great benevolent ones strikes again

"You can't take his music seriously. He sings songs about oral sex and incest. It's my job to keep reality over this science fiction creep....something else,he doesn't want to be black" eek

Thing is Prince was making the same kind of sexual and innuendo-filled music as Rick (incest aside). Only difference was Prince's was far more overt while Rick's handled the subject matter in a more euphemistic and sly manner.

The hate didn't keep Rick from stealing Prince's grooves for Street Songs. lol For a variety of reasons though, I think Prince had opportunities Rick wished he had.

That's why I think a movie about the Rick-Prince rivalry would be a great film. The emotions behind that rivalry, with one talented star cresting, and one megatalented star rising, would be great material for a film.

Why can't you just simply ignore the comments? hmmm There are a lot of trolls and troublemakers on the Internet.Click on any music video on Youtube and you will see some negative comments. It's nothing to get worked up about.

And some of those trolls are a bunch of disinfo agents. They post negative comments on videos AND even get videos fiagged on purpose just to see a YT channel get ruined and taken down.

Because Rick was a coke head alky(😊), i somewhat overlook all the smack he talked about Prince. Also, i sometimes wonder if Rick had feelings for Prince(😂), because he sure as heck talked about him like a scorned woman would(ladies, forgive the sexism).

In all seriousness. I just think Rick was a little jealous of Prince .

Teena Marie recalled that Rick stole Prince's synthesizers, which Prince had programmed, so I think he stole both.
