I see. I don't know exactly how synthesizers work but when I listen to Street Songs none of those songs sound anything like Prince.

If so then it's an eye for an eye as far as I'm concerned. When Prince was opening for Rick, the former was said to steal some of the latter's moves and because Prince was the opener, it looked like Rick was copying him since Prince performed first.
