Yesterday I picked up this LP of obscure Funk songs from 1979-1982 called "The Funk Is On the 1" and it's book-ended by a song called "I Like Funky Music."

Obviously, it has nothing to do with the Prince song from "New Power Soul," just has the same title.

Still, it makes you wonder if he knew anything about it.

Not a bad track, maybe a little too derivative of P-Funk.
