Fulton County chairman calls for criminal investigation of R. Kelly

ATLANTA - The Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners has asked authorities to open a criminal investigation of R. Kelly, citing new evidence. The singer was recently accused of sexually exploiting and holding young girls against their will.

Friday, Commission Chairman John Eaves said investigators have uncovered new information surrounding the allegations against Kelly that’s “severely raised the level of concern."

Eaves is holding a news conference, calling for a criminal investigation by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

I thought the girls were supposedly young adults, young but adults nonetheless. I haven't gave this much thought honestly. We'll see what become of this.

I guess age doesn't matter if someone is being held against their will. However, didn't the daughter of the parents that went public with their concerns, say she was fine and working on music.

-

I'm still looking at those parents crossed eyed because they knew better but took a chance anyway.

Whoa, Don't know how you came to that conclusion. I actually hope the new evidence is enough to finally lock him away. He's been known as a pedofile since he married Aaliyah those many years ago but nothing ever became of it. I was just recalling some of the basic facts that has occurred since the story first broke.

When he married Alliyah he he 20 something. 20 somethings are still young and stupid. Not too much of a difference from how a teenager acts!

And AAliyah had her father around her. I do not understand why her father was not more protective of her? I think it is Child Abuse when parents push their children to become an entertainer/artist at such a young age.
