Sinead O'Connors situation

My apologies if this has already been posted. A few days ago O'Connor posted a video to Facebook talking about how she's been living in a modest hotel & gives some details about her battle with mental illness. Then I start seeing post saying she's been living in a skid (not sure how true that is). Either way Its hard seeing her end up like this.

Here's a link. http://www.cnn.com/2017/0...ook-video/

She needs help, which it seems she knows and for now at least is getting. It's unfortunate that she and her family can't find a way to work through whatever drama exists enough to at least communicate on ANY level. I've lost a family member to suicide and pushing them away when things got really bad is somethind I will take with me to the end of my days. It's a very, VERY good sign that she's willing to talk about it. She's not in denial, she knows she has problems, she's not hiding them or pretending everything is fine. Depression and mental illness NEEDS TO BE TALKED ABOUT. People suffering from depression and mental illness need to know they can talk about their problems without being ostrasized, ridiculed or given the old, "everything will be fine".

She certainly is one of the most fragile stars we have, and that's saying a lot. Some people have a double whammy of having PTSD and Borderline personality Disorder. I know she has stated in the press that she has PTSD, and her interpersonal behavior (and announcements) have all the hallmarks of a Borderline Personality Disorder. I don't mean this in a disparagingly way, but more in a compassionate way, as she seems to suffer a great deal! Perhaps I am the rare person on the org who actually likes her music, even her most recent things. They are much more entertaining than her sad and erratic announcements.

She's just an attention seeker. Every once in a while she comes out with this kind of stuff. Rather than just seeking help privately she feels the need to make very public announcements through social media or the press.

I don't think you understand how mental illness works.

My cousin Billo suffers from spontaneous combustion which once lead him to beat my sister with a living rattlesnake. :'(

I hope she has treatment and finds a balance with her meds. She might never be right but it'll certainly help her. Could be she needs help administering them and taking them on time. Especially if she's a lonely person.

I am sorry but she probaly needs to be in a facility were meds can be administered to her. I know people do not like hearing that but it is only a matter of time before she injures herself.
