June 2017 interview

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Adorecream

Barely heard of him until I saw he has 3 songs in our Top 20 and one has Justin Bieber in it. Looking him up, he is nearly 42 - good grief, he is older than me and a real life Muslim person of Arabic descent, rather than the usual Jamal or Kareem whose real name is George Otis Jefferson or something.

.

Heard some songs, usual shitty hip hop with guest rappers and shitty looped in drum beats and crappy auto tune. Even more bizarre is another artist called Khalid who has a rap song in our charts too, aaarrrrggghhhh!!! When will it end.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Did you know DJ Khaled's album is TWO COMPACT DISCS and full of the industry's top acts?

I had to check it out just for who is all on there. Has that Santana "Maria Maria" song done by Rihanna on it.

Reminds me of the blockbuster summer soundtracks that used to have a bunch of artists releasing non-album songs.

Travis Scott and his autotune appears on there way too often though.

So it's a good album? I'm intrigued but from what I see he doesn't need my money.

This must have been before he made a lot of money, because Khaled is smaller here.

Obesity is a metabolic disease where the "set point" of a body's weight is higher than most, and often climbs.
