Those 1st couple of singles did not move me....but the cd has some nastiness that I love about his work.

yep...i been listening to this on TIDAL all day...damn good lp...sheeit, i was one of the few people here that like "Level"

I was listening to it on Spotify all morning at work then I picked it up from Best Buy after

work. This joint bumps in the car. Level grew on me. The first 5 tracks are fire.

Art In Motion feat. Robert Glasper and Be With U are my favorites at the moment.

Other standout tracks are Organic, Think About U, and Cross The Line.

I love the majority of the cd. It will probably be the first and only cd I purchase this year.

I couldn't have been more wrong about this project. My initial skepticism has been replaced with the thrill of tracks like "Victoria", "Art in Motion" and "Organic". Heck, even "Level" is growing on me.

Gonna have to scope this one out then. Enjoyed hearing Stokley at The Revolution concert also.

Art N Motion & Victoria are really on point.

Stokley is killing it.

It is beyond frustrating for me when I KNOW a dude can rock it like Stokley and all I get is damn lovesick ballads.

Victoria and Wheels Up are interesting but the rest is rather bland.

The last 2 minutes of Be With You is sick. I have it stuck on repeat too. Stokley kicks ass on the

steel drums and keys. Hold My Breath caught me off guard. I'm digging that one too. Is Stokley singing about what I think he's singing about on that song?

Think About You is the ballad of the year. I'm digging the whole cd pretty much but I'm

not crazy about Wheels Up or Forecast. One sleeper cut I'm digging more and more

is Way Up feat. Wale.

The songs are catchy, mature, pop-flavored and funky. But, the person responsible for the wack cover art needs to be fired.

100% agree ....and yeah Stokely definitely singing about eatin coochie on "Hold My Breath"...

"Cross The Line" becoming my new favorite (after "Be With You")... the synth stabs in the hook, imitating the Earth Wind & Fire horn section, set that shit off right... Stokely singing the verses with the Mike Jackson/Stevie Wonder influence....

Listen to Hold My Breath. He's not out there as in rock but it's a nice uptempo song with some clever lyrics about oral sex.
