Thundercat, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald ~ Show You The Way

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I saw this as well, MickyDolenz. What did u think? I liked it, wasn't really wowed by it but it was nice. Do u think this is a one time thing? I wouldn't mind hearing them get funky, this was pretty restrained and it's obvious they could get really funky if they wanted to. Definitely different in these times seeing three dudes singing about love all kindly on late night tv. That Michael McDonald has a pleasant, timeless voice. lol

Not as bad as the recording but not much of an improvment. One of the most disappointing CDs I have listened to in a while.

That was an awesome performance. Laid back and Loggins was killing those falcettos. Thundercat is so bad, Prince would have brought him on stage if he didnt do it already. I liked his stance on "For You" which is his favorite album, "My Love Is Forever" being his favorite song.

Drunk is a good album. In my opinion it drags on in the last four tracks (I think two of them even usd the same drum beat) but I give it a good 7 / 10

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

The entire album drags. I would give it one star. I could not get through it without falling asleep.

I like it. I don't post anything I don't like. I've never heard of Thundercat, but I watch Jimmy Fallon and I saw this on there and I like Kenny & Michael already. Kenny was on Live At Daryl's House recently too.
