"The King and I" - New Album by Faith Evans and Notorious B.I.G.

On 19 May 2017, a duet album by Faith Evans and the late Notorious B.I.G. was released. It has been twenty years since Christopher Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G.'s civil name, was fatally shot by an unknown murderer. He and Faith Evans had been married for a short time and parented a little boy. This tragedy had indeed a profound impact on Evans who carries on Biggie's legacy and is also a successful singer, songwriter and producer on her own. The collaborative album features 25 tracks, inclduing songs When We Party (with Snoop Dogg), NYC (with Jadakiss), I Don't Want It (with Lil' Cease), Somebody Knows (with Busta Rhymes), Take Me There (with Sheek Louch and Style P), and Lovin' You for Life (with Lil' Kim). The bonus version that exists only in the CD format has three additional songs, Body Language, My Bitch, and an alternate version of Drugs that features Hurricane G. Evans's eldest daughter Chyna provided background vocals and some lyrics for the project, too.

So far so good! Listening to it all day every day on Tidal. The only downside is that there is no streaming of the bonus version and I'm not sure if the tracks will ever be uploaded online.

I'm intrigued by this... Idk he has been deceased and remixed so many times since then. It's interesting and sorta sad, too. Maybe it's nice to reminisce but wouldn't it be funny if for instance BIG just never woulda approved of a song/remix/arrangement but there it is now and forever in his discography. Same with Bob Marley. Nostalgia sells I suppose.
if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

new Oreos commercial

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
