TheThem

Why would they need that much money to make an album of push-button music

Electric noises, a beat, cadence vocals. The usual boring today's dumb sound.

Id get the album. However realistically T-Boz and Left Eye were the main songwriters out of the group and Left Eye had alot to do with the songs that were pushed. Its not the same anymore but really we werent singing along to Left Eyes voice most of the time. However her presence is severely missed.

No... No no no no no... Started off with potential but relies too heavily on September it's most of the song structure. I'd tell them back to the drawing board on this one.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

BabeeSinista

Good for them.

Glad the Lp has dropped and the first single is a nice one IMO.

Both T-Boz and Chilli look fantastic (both in their late 40's)

The group will never be the same without Left Eye's charisma.

Rock on ladies.

Tbh an extended version of Way Back seems a daunting listen when I could barely survive a minute and a half of the music video. They do look a bit silly like "who let these old heads into the party". The Snoop footage is super lame. I got a "baby baby baby" video flashback feeling which is cute but their peers and friends seem much younger than they are in a sorta creepy way.
.
It's Sunny is sorta forced sounding too, all th dance/house music in the past two decades and that's the best the team could come up with? Also heard a clip of No Introduction... Buncha throwback blah blah blah. The title track from 3D is more creative than any of this promo. So are they pulling a "Rebel Heart" and not linking up with any of the classic, talented producers that provided at least part of the magic of their hit material? Any Babyface, Dupri, or Dallas rumors? That would pique my interest but this stuff seems very focused on "how great we are based on how great we used to be" without any of it being really great in itself.

I like the song its good stuff! They look very good as well. I hope this album is a good listen, actually I really only play CSC and Fanmail the most out of the four albums, I'm excited to see where this holds up against the others.

I love these girls.

Great video for "Way Back".

They could have done so much more for "Haters". Too basic. I'm glad they're still doing message songs (Eg. Unpretty, Damaged, Waterfalls) but they need an equally strong visual to sell the song. Lining up a bunch of fans to recite the song is flat out lazy.

Okay Way Back is alright but they can go fly a damn kite with Marlo Thomas
with that Haters bullshit. That is so 1998 and the juvenile side of R.Kelly
