The Band - "Tears of Rage"

The way the composition, which is in the key of C, ends on that C7 followed by a Fmaj7 is
super cool. Anyways, I've been digging Music from Big Pink lately and wanted to share my
new enjoyment.

Do you have a copy of this song? It does not exist within the YouTube-verse.

Unfortunately, I am unable to upload it. Do you have Spotify, it may be on there

I really like Northern Lights-Southern Cross, Last Waltz and Robbie's first solo album. Surprisingly I've never delved into this album.

I listened on Spotify.

I didn't like it. Hendrix doesn't do what I like about the tune itself and it's that harmonic movement of
the C7 going into the Fmaj7 within C major, which adds to the original's haunting and dream like qual-

ities.

But, I didn't know of this Hendrix anthology, so thanks for sharing that!

I thought it was an interesting interpretation. Especially considering it was not really a professional recording- essentially a demo, actually.

That Hendrix collection is worthwhile if you're a serious fan
