The Velvet Rope is the first album I ever bought. And it's a great album. I was obsessed with the song Together Again. I think I was 12 when I bought the album. Not everything on that album is appropriate for a 12-year-old 2 hear, but I've turned out just fine. I love Janet!

The open threads are good reads, whether about specific albums, or particular moments in her record contract situations.
