Unheralded producer and songwriter who, along with T-Boy Ross, crafted one of the most sensual and elegant albums of Marvin Gaye's career, I Want You. Rest in peace, Leon.

this guy was a brilliant songwriter/composer.I have one of his albums,1977's Musical Massage.Motown wanted Leon to give this album to Marvin Gaye (as a follow-up to I Want You) but Leon said "no way",lol. It is a very underrated album.

yep...Berry Gordy didnt respect Leon as a singer, but loved his productions, and wanted to give Leon's songs to Marvin, which he did on several occasions...
