I'm afraid is just too complex for you. If you didn't understand Toy Story saga as you told me via orgnote, how would you understand The Grandfather.

i don't listen to a great deal of scores, but i have enjoyed quite a few from ennio morricone. i especially like 'the mission.'

i've also been watching a lot of werner herzog movies recently, and i've really enjoyed popol vuh's soundtracks to his 70s films, aguirre in particular.

one of my favorite morricone pieces...

...which to me is very reminiscint of 'north' on prince's n.e.w.s.; at least in that it evokes traversing a blizzardy snowscape...

i forget how i got turned on to this, but i listened to the soundtrack dozens of times before i ever saw the movie...

Another score that I love is by Alex North for the classic A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)

Another one I love is from East of Eden (1955) by Leonard Rosenman. Every time I watch this film it makes me emotional at the end, and alot it has to do with the story and the score, which is beautiful

leads nicely into...

Prince should have listened to more of it.
