I Have A Radio Show, Please Check It Out.

I didn’t know where to put this, so here it is.

Ladies and gentleman members of “the .org” I would like to invite you all to listen to Houston’s own KTSU 90.9FM every Sunday morning from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM. Where I (Late Night Groove with Kerry Lewis) play the best in R&B, Soul and Funk Oldies from the 1950s’ through the 1970s’ (more specifically the Rock & Roll era of about 54-55’ish to right before the electronic music hit R&B, Soul and Funk. So to about 76-77 So around a 20 or so year span.

Not only do I give the you hits that everyone knows, I also give you that hit that just doesn’t get play on regular ole’ oldies stations. You’re gonna here more than just “My Girl” from The Temptations or “I Got The Feelin” by James Brown. For example, this past weekend I played The Temptations “Hey Girl” a mid-sized hit from 1973 which probably hasn’t gotten play sense 1973 and Bobby Byrd’s “I Know You Got Soul”, James Brown’s right hand man‘s single from 1971. I even sometime play album cuts.

I play all the major hit makers from those years like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackson Five, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield. The Legends of Legends.
I play your successful acts that were not quite superstars like your Gene Chandler, Dramatics, Betty Wright, Delfonics and of course my mans Joe Tex.
Forgotten but still greats like Billy Stewart, Barbara Mason, Five Stairsteps, Major Lance and the Temprees.

Or, I even will give you that obscure artist. GC Cameron not really obscure, he was a member of the Spinners but his solo career didn’t go anywhere. But, it was still good music. GC, Shuggie Otis.

My .Org friends outside of Houston, you can catch me on the tunein app. Free download service on your phone or computer.
